The cameras were turned on Photographers this weekend at the Societies’ 2012 Convention and Trade Show held at the Novotel Hotel & Conference Centre in Hammersmith. New Dye Sub Printer Launched at London Trade Show

After months of speculation, the UK finally caught its first glimps of the new printer from Citizen – the OP900ii
Photomart, the Pan-European distributor for Citizen, unveiled the new OP900ii at the Societies 2012 Trade Show. This new dye sub (an update of the original OP900) has caused serious shock-waves in the market by bridging the gap between the smaller/lighter printers and the larger/higher capacity dye subs.

We found the following story posted on the EPS forum by event photographer Peter McRobert and decided to publish it again here on TogBlog with the author’s permission. Please note that Photomart & TogBlog would advise strongly against bouncing around one’s DS printer on the road but nevertheless, it remains a strong testament to the reliability & build quality of DNP’s popular workhorse and 1st choice of the majority of event photographers in the UK, the DNP DS40 printer.
