Reuters reported this morning (19 January 2012) that Eastman Kodak Co. has filed for “Chapter 11″ which is the term for bankruptcy protection in the US. It postpones a company’s financial obligations to its trade creditors thus giving it time to reorganise its debts or sell parts of the business to restore liquidity.

Today The Telegraph published an article about the decline of one of photography’s biggest names.
