Reuters reported this morning (19 January 2012) that Eastman Kodak Co. has filed for “Chapter 11″ which is the term for bankruptcy protection in the US. It postpones a company’s financial obligations to its trade creditors thus giving it time to reorganise its debts or sell parts of the business to restore liquidity.
