Bloomberg says Kodak is prime acquisition target

In a telephone interview with Bloomberg, Walter Todd, who helps manage $950 million at Greenwood Capital in Greenwood South Carolina USA, says Kodak have “missed the boat with the transition to digital but they do have some valuable assets”. It is estimated that the Rochester based company may be holding patents worth five times more than the business itself, making the 131- year-old camera company a prime acquisition target [...]

Wildings Digital Camera Centre shuts its doors

Amateur Photographer magazine has reported the closure of all seven North West based Wildings Digital Camera Centres and that staff are currently unwilling to provide any explanation for the closures or for how long the shops will remain closed. According to records held by the Companies House, Wilding Photographic Ltd. is still trading as normal.
It has also been reported that staff at the Alderley Road store were “clearing stock” on Thursday, 30th June [...]

“Canon” named best brand

Canon was recently awarded “Best Photography Brand” by popular consumer magazine, “Which?”.
