Canon has recently released a firmware update for their EOS 600D digital SLR camera. The new firmware, version1.0.1, incorporates 2 fixes. Firstly, it clarifies one of the feature guide descriptions on the camera’s LCD monitor related to the digital zoom function for movie shooting and secondly, it fixes a rare occurring problem when a computer that is tethered to the camera via USB somehow fails to recognize the camera.
