TogBlog recently contacted CEO of Express Digital Graphics, Inc./Photoreflect.com, Mr. Jim Albrecht, for comment on Photoreflect’s withrawal from the UK and how this may impact on the future of Express Digital products. Photoreflect.com quits UK

In a recent email, CEO of Express Digital Graphics, Inc./Photoreflect.com (the makers of Express Digital Darkroom) Jim Albrecht, states that Photreflect.com will be “exiting” the UK market to concentrate on growing business in the US. UK accounts will remain active and operating through 31 October 2011 but after that date, UK customers will no longer be able to sell their work via the Photoreflect site. The company claims that tax and regulatory requirements prevent them from issuing outstanding payments to UK customers [...]

Google retires Picasa

Mashable.com has reported that Google will drop the names “Picasa” and “Blogger” from their list of online products, likely within the next 4 to 6 weeks. Mashable further reports that the move will be in an effort to ‘unify’ the Google brand for the integration of the two services into Google’s soon to be launched social initiative, “Google+”.
